DESPITE appearances, these incredible pictures weren’t taken at the North Pole. Strong winds coated a home in Western New York, which faces Lake Ontario, in ice.
The owners will need chisels to get into their front door thanks to the huge blizzard that swept across Canada and the US for a week.
It sticks out from next-door neighbours’ homes which appear defrosted thanks to preventative lake-facing walls and central heating.
