The Replacement fans go wild as they spot ‘a SECOND baby’ on Ellen’s knee in the final

THE Replacement had fans on the edge of their seats during Tuesday night’s finale but this moment almost tipped some over the edge.

In the final seconds of the show, Ellen could be seen sitting next to the grave of her best pal Kay while reading a story to her daughter Lia.

But as the camera panned away, it seemed there was a ‘second baby’ nestled into Ellen’s lap.

Some fans of the BBC One thriller spotted the figure and took to Twitter to express their shock at the twist.

One tweeted: “Just watched ending back twice. Did I see a baby boy as well as Lia? Were both kids David’s?”

Another wrote: “Did she have another baby on her lap? #TheReplacement #soconfused.”

The possible twist only made fans more adamant they wanted…
