She was sentenced to life in prison for belonging to the Islamic State group, the latest in a series of court judgments against jihadists.DOZENS of foreign ISIS brides are being sentenced to death in Iraq as the country exacts its revenge after three years of jihadi occupation.

Pleading that they themselves are victims, the women were given 10 minutes to beg for their lives before judges decided their sentence.

Many of them find little sympathy with the Iraqi judiciary and locals and are despised for their support of their militant husbands, who tore the country apart between 2014 and 2017.

French citizen Djamila Boutoutao, 29, appeared in court last month and claimed: “I thought I had married a rapper. It was only when we arrived in Turkey for a week-long ‘holiday’ that I discovered my husband was a jihadist.”

Paid parking later this year at what is soon to be #Perth’s biggest shopping centre has drawn the ire of customers, who have threatened to shop locally or online to avoid paying.

New parking ticket machines installed at Westfield Carousel next to yellow bollards. The introduction of paid parking later this year at what is soon to be Western Australia’s biggest shopping centre has drawn the ire of customers, who have threatened to shop locally or online to avoid paying.

Scentre Group, which owns and operates Westfield Shopping centres in Australia, confirmed paid parking after the first three hours will be introduced at its Cannington shopping centre.

The fees will kick in when a $350 million redevelopment is completed later this year.

License plate recognition technology is already being rolled out at carpark entry and exit points at Westfield Carousel.

It will be the first time Scentre Group has introduced paid parking in WA.

While Scentre Group would not be drawn on how much shoppers can expect to pay, its charges range from $5 to $40 at interstate car parks.

Shoppers will avoid payment if they park for less than three hours but will face escalating costs of up to $40 per day after that.

Former #Perth schoolboy Henri Van Breda guilty of murdering family with axe in South Africa

Henri van Breda.Former Perth schoolboy Henri Van Breda has been found guilty of the axe murders of his mother, father and brother in their luxury South African home — an attack which also nearly killed his teenaged sister.

In a judgment handed down in a Cape Town court on Monday, Judge Siraj Desai discounted Van Breda’s account of a laughing, balaclava-clad intruder attacking his family as he watched helplessly.

Instead, Judge Desai methodically picked apart the explanations of the 23-year old — before finding it was he who had massacred his mother Teresa, father Martin and brother Rudi, before attempting to slaughter his 16-year-old sister Marli.

He told the girl to “do what I tell you” and forced her into nearby bushland before abusing her.

Merritt was charged with unlawfully detaining a child, deprivation of liberty, indecent assault and four counts of sexual penetration without consent after a cold case review into the unsolved crime.
