Armed police flooded Colville Square in upmarket Notting Hill after reports of a gunman firing on a building from a car, minutes after singer Ora was spotted in the area with a friend.

Shots were fired in a wealthy district of London this afternoon just minutes after popstar Rita Ora had been visiting the area.

Singer Rita Ora narrowly missed being caught up in the chaos having been seen enjoying a drink in the area, as she took a break from working out at the members-only gym Bodyism shortly before.

It is understood nobody was hurt when a gunman, believed to be in a car, opened fire on a building around 2pm this afternoon.
