Disgraced Flynn got paid $45,000 for speech where he sat by Putin

Former Trump national security advisor Michael Flynn got paid $45,000 for a 2015 speech to the Kremlin-backed RT, an explosive new documents uncovered in a probe by Congress reveal.

After his speaker’s bureau, Leading Authorities, took its 25 per cent take, Flynn got $33,750, for an event celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the outlet.

Flynn, a retired Army Lt. Gen., long ago acknowledged getting paid, but wouldn’t reveal the sum in an interview with the Washington Post.

The documents were released by a Congressional inquiry on Thursday. 

Flynn resigned under pressure just weeks into his tenure after it was revealed he multiple contacts with Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak during the transition, and didn’t disclose to Vice President Mike Pence and others that sanctions on Russia were discussed.
