Prince Charles will walk Meghan Markle down the aisle when she marries his son Prince Harry on Saturday, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
Ms Markle yesterday confirmed her own father, Thomas Markle, would not attend her wedding in order to focus on his health.

“I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support.

In a statement, Kensington Palace said Ms Markle had asked Prince Charles to accompany her down the aisle of St George’s Chapel on her wedding day.
“The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms Markle to The Royal Family in this way,” the statement said.

#Perth Airport’s third runway clears hurdle, sparks immediate Noongar backlash
Perth Airport’s expansion plans have cleared a major hurdle, putting a decades-old proposal for a third runway a step closer to reality.
But Aboriginal Affairs Minister Ben Wyatt’s decision to grant Aboriginal heritage approval for the runway sparked an immediate backlash, with Noongar groups angry about the impact on a nearby sacred site.
The new airstrip, which is unlikely to be operational for about a decade and still has some hurdles to clear before it can proceed, will be constructed in part on Munday Swamp and will run parallel to the existing main runway.
Munday Swamp is an ancient turtle-fishing site deemed to be of high cultural importance to the Noongar community.

Middle Eastern prophecy: Is Trump a reincarnated King Cyrus, destined to herald the end of days?
PROPHECY is unfolding in the Middle East. Riots. Killings. War. At its centre is President Donald Trump. And his evangelical supporters are hoping he will bring on Armageddon.
The move of the US embassy to Jerusalem was bold.
Its outcome was predictable.
The territorial dispute between the Palestinians and the recently recreated (after some 1875 years) Israel has been erupting sporadically ever since 1948.
Any change to the delicate power balance was sure to topple into violence.
It has shattered hopes of fresh peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
It has also damaged the credibility of the US as a Middle East peace broker.
How this has been allowed to happen doesn’t make much sense — unless you look at it through the evangelical eyes of some of Trump’s top advisers and closest confidantes.
The move was about domestic politics.
Not international diplomacy.
The decision to move the embassy fulfilled a key Trump election campaign promise. It also represented a victory for hard-line pro-Israeli interest groups…

An American tourist who was mugged at knifepoint in outback Western Australia says thieves left him stranded with just the clothes on his back and one shoe.

He landed in Perth on Australia’s west coast barely a fortnight ago and had travelled 600 kilometres inland to the gold mining town of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
The 50-year-old was hoping to make a lucky strike doing some metal detecting and was having the time of his life until 10.45pm on Monday.
He had pulled up for the night in a parking lot next door to a swimming pool complex, and was working inside his four-wheel-drive preparing for his outback prospecting trip when he was set upon by two men. They threatened Mr Kezer with a knife and an unidentified metal object before stealing his car and camper trailer.

#Perth Teens assaulted and robbed on Naval Base beach
TWO teenagers who were attacked and threatened at knifepoint while out fishing at a Perth beach have spoken of the terrifying ordeal.
The teens, who did not want to be named, were camping with four other friends at Horse Beach, Naval Base near Kwinana when they claim they were dragged from their tents, then forced to lay face first in the sand before being assaulted and robbed.
The teens said shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 13, they were approached by a group of six to 10 men.
They said one man dragged them from their tents, forced to them to lay face first in the sand with their hands behind their backs while the other men searched through their bags.
The teens claim the men then screamed at them and allegedly threatened to “kick their head(s) in” if they didn’t cooperate.

Queensland University of Technology’s Cancer and Ageing Research Program discover anti-age drug
In a lab at Queensland University of Technology’s Cancer and Ageing Research Program there’s been a discovery that could change the way we live and when we die.
Researchers believe they’ve found the holy grail — the fountain of youth.
QUT Professor Dr Ken O’Byrne said he got “hairs on the back of my neck” when he saw the discovery.
“We may be able to take a 60-year-old’s cells and make them 40,” he said.
It’s an anti-ageing drug to stop the DNA wrecking ball which causes cancer, heart disease, cholesterol, arthritis and Alzheimer’s — which 50 per cent of people over the age of 80 have.
This drug could prevent them all, delay their onset or even reverse it.
