Flight SQ226 is being rerouted to mark the airline’s 50th year of service to Perth and people who see the fly-by are encouraged to take a photo and share it on the Singapore Airlines Facebook page with the hashtag #SQPerth50.

The best image of the A350, shared with the correct hashtag, will earn the photographer two return economy-class tickets to Singapore, so you might want to note that Kings Park will be a top vantage spot.

Passengers aboard this special flight to Singapore will enjoy a pre-boarding party to celebrate the occasion and the aircraft will be given a water cannon salute prior to its departure.
