Three people have been arrested over suspected links to the suicide bomber who attacked St Petersburg’s subway.

Police found live bombs in the apartment of the suspects, who are from Kyrgyzstan – the same Central Asia region as the 22-year-old bomber Akbarzhon Dzhalilov.

Dzhalilov blew himself up on a busy subway line on Monday, killing himself and 13 others and wounding over 50 people.

Investigators believed the men were Dzalilov’s accomplices, a source told the Interfax news agency.
