Strict bail conditions of CH9 Ben McCormack Banned from playgrounds, schools, childcare centres and arcades

A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack has been ordered to keep away from playgrounds, schools and concerts under strict bail conditions.

The senior Nine Network reporter, 42, was sensationally charged on Thursday morning with allegedly using a carriage service to send child pornography.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Mr McCormack has been ordered not to communicate with, attempt to communicate with, ‘seek or actively remain in the company of’ any person aged younger than 16.

Under the conditions of his bail release, he is ordered not to go near premises known to be frequented by children.

Those include – but are not limited to – video arcades, playgrounds, schools and preschools, childcare premises, concerts or shows and sporting venues used for kids’ entertainment.

He is allowed in the company of immediate family members aged under 16, as long as his contact is supervised by an ‘acceptable’ adult
