Media insiders were shocked by the arrest of A Current Affair journalist Ben McCormack following a raid on Channel Nine’s Sydney headquarters on Thursday morning.
Eight police officers turned up at the news network’s offices in Willoughby about 9.45am and stunned staff were told to leave the program’s offices while detectives investigated.
‘He’s a lovable guy, he’s been at the network for years and he’s hard working and decent,’ one colleague said.
