Australian Federal Police ice bust is largest ever seizure in history

AUSTRALIAN authorities have made the largest ever seizure of the drug ice in the nation’s history.

The record 903kg haul, valued at almost $900 million, follows a joint operation involving the Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police.

Police say they discovered the drug stuffed into floorboards.

The majority of the ice was found in a warehouse in Norcal Rd, Nunawading, about 20km east of Melbourne’s CBD.

Two men aged 53 and 36 have been charged with drug trafficking.
