Sydney bootleggers pair found selling $21m worth of pirate DVDs

A man and a woman in Sydney were busted for making more than a million counterfeit DVDs.

Mosaic Defredes and Allison Daniel pleaded guilty last year to violating the Copyright Act after police seized more than 1.2million fake movie DVDs during a 2013 raid.

If sold, the DVDs would have brought in over $21million, according to estimates by the Australian Screen Association, a movie industry organisation.
