St John paramedics treated the boy at the scene before he was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It is understood the boy, 11, was riding a bike when he was struck near the intersection of Davallia Road about 3.15pm.
He was conscious and talking when he was pulled from under bus.
