British backpacker ‘was GANG RAPED’ before being murdered

EXCLUSIVE: Murdered British backpacker Daniel McLaughlin was gang-raped before she was murdered with a broken beer bottle, her heartbroken family believe.

In a dramatic development, Vikram Varma today insisted that prime suspect Vikat Bhagat could not have have acted alone.

Mr Varma, who is representing her family, told MailOnline: ‘Danielle was 5’8” tall and she was really strong. This fellow Bhagat, he does not look strong and muscular.

‘I doubt he had the strength to overcome Danielle on his own.

‘If she was intoxicated there would have been no need for the terrible injuries she suffered.’
