Angry mob of neighbours surround suspected burglars

A mob of neighbours cornered a trio of suspected burglars for two hours when they allegedly tried to escape through the roof of a house.

Shardy Rehman, 44, was on his way home from work when he noticed a ‘commotion’ on a street in Bradford.

He then saw three figures on top of a house, surrounded below by ‘angry’ locals who had ‘turned on them’ as they allegedly tried to flee the scene.

The HGV driver then decided to record the footage and captured the moment one of the suspected intruders made a gun-like shape with his hand.

Mr Rehman said the suspected criminals had been on the roof of the house for two hours after being spotted by locals.

Following this incident, three men aged 17, 17, and 20 were arrested on suspicion of burglary, affray and criminal damage.
