A young woman is being hailed as a hero for her bravery when she rescued a three-year-old boy, who was seen wandering along railway tracks, from an incoming train in Melbourne’s south-east.
In a dashing moment of courage, the alert young woman rushed to the boy’s side, grabbing him and pulling him away to safety.
Witnesses have described her efforts as ‘heroic’, after watching the incident unfold at Narre Warren station in Melbourne’s south-east.
