TV legend Bert Newton is ‘extremely ill’ and rushed to hospital

The 78-year-old is ‘extremely ill’ after being taken to hospital with pneumonia but was pictured smiling in hospital surrounded by his family.

‘Burt Newton is extremely ill. He is battling pneumonia,’ entertainment reporter Peter Ford said on the programme.
