Kwinana freeway closed after serious crash

TWO vehicles are reportedly on fire and the freeway has been closed following a crash south of Perth just before midday.

Main Roads have warned motorists that the vehicle fire has forced the closure of the Kwinana Freeway northbound at Rowley Road in Aubin Grove.

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said two vehicles were on fire but no one was trapped. It is unclear exactly how many cars were involved in the crash, with some reports suggesting as many as four vehicles.
