Google to block adverts in Chrome browser but allow its own to keep the $80 billion a year

Adblocker tools are increasingly popular with internet users in Britain and elsewhere who are tired of interruptions from annoying pop-up and video promotions.

Google is to introduce an adblocker that will stop its rivals yet still allow the online giant’s own adverts to keep generating it £47 billion a year, it has been reported.
