A severe weather warning has been issued for New South Wales after Cyclone Debbie with the tropical low forecast to bring heavy rain, flash flooding and damaging winds to the state.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast heavy rain in the northeast of the state and damaging winds along the coastal fringe of Sydney on Thursday and Friday.
Residents have been told to be alert to potential torrential rain, heavy winds and flash flooding, reported the Daily Telegraph.
