Eileen Bond says Channel 9’s telemovie House Of Bond appalling

EILEEN Bond, the former wife of late tycoon, Alan, has gone on the attack against Channel 9’s new telemovie, House Of Bond, slamming the two-part series as “appalling” and a fabricated version of her 37-year marriage.

Speaking from her home in Perth, Mrs Bond — nicknamed Red — was furious after seeing a trailer for the series set to air on Nine next month.

One scene, in which actor Ben Mingay as Alan Bond menaces his then wife [played by Adrienne Pickering] with the prospect of having her killed for $10,000, outraged the real Red Bond, who told News Corp Australia: “Alan, in our 37 years of marriage never spoke to me like that, never said a word.”
