Ken wakes up in hospital to quite the headache – and we’re not talking about the one from that bump to the head.
“Ken is so scared,” says William Roache, who plays the Barlow patriarch.
“It has been put into his mind that it must be someone close to him, and if you are frail and sick, the paranoia would be huge.
“He’s going through each of his relatives in his mind and with every one there is a motive. He is deeply hurt that one of his family could want to kill him.”
After Ken reluctantly admits to the police that various members of his brood had reason to bump him off, Adam is questioned about his beef with his grandad.
Realising he needs an alibi, Adam blackmails Rosie into saying he was with her when the attack happened – will she back up his version of events?
Meanwhile, Peter is panicking after leaving a voicemail on Simon’s mobile at the time of the attack, claiming he has to leave town.
