Man, 23, charged with murder of missing Brisbane childcare worker Sam Thompson

A 23-year-old man has been charged over the murder of missing Brisbane childcare worker Sam Thompson, 22, (pictured) after police seized a car and searched a tip.

Sam Thompson, 22, has not been seen since March 7 after leaving his apartment in Albion, north of Brisbane.

His distinctive orange 2016 Ford Mustang was found abandoned near Byron Bay in northern New South Wales two days after his mysterious disappearance.
