A terrified woman spent two full days cowering in her bathtub with her dog as she she hid from Cyclone Debbie.

Helen Muller, from Proserpine, Queensland, thought she was going to die when she heard the walls of her house begin to crack as the Category 4 storm lashed her home on Tuesday.

Ms Muller, 59, took shelter in her bathroom when the torrential rains and howling winds hit, ripping her two-door garage out of the ground.
