Carjackers lay in wait before carpark attack south of #Perth

A WOMAN was assaulted and her car stolen by two men in a frightening attack in Mandurah on Friday afternoon.

The victim, a 44-year-old woman, was walking to her car parked at the rear of Sutton Street, near the intersection of Tuckey Street, about 5.10pm when she passed two men sitting at the rear of the building.

Police say one of the men approached her, grabbed her and threatened her for her personal property. The woman was then assaulted to the face.

The victim handed over the keys to her blue 2008 XR6 Ford Falcon as well as her handbag. The two men jumped into her car and drove away towards Sutton Street.

One of the men is described as being dark-skinned, about 180cm tall, of a solid build and aged between 20 to 30. He was wearing a dark hooded jumper, with the hood covering his head, and dark pants.

The other man is described as being dark-skinned and was wearing dark clothing.

The victim suffered minor injuries in the attack.
