A 20-YEAR-OLD man, who was allegedly driving drunk and had no licence, will be charged after he allegedly crashed a car into a Mount Hawthorn home overnight.
Police will allege the man was driving a Toyota Camry east along Powis Street around 2.25am on Saturday and lost control of the vehicle at the intersection with Brady Street, hitting a kerb and tree before ploughing into the carport of a house on Brady Street.
The carport and a Hyundai 120 parked under it were damaged. A woman was home at the time, but was not injured.
