Thandie Newton reveals her girl crush on her Line of Duty co-star as she live tweets along with episode

Thandie Newton stars in the BBC drama Line of Duty, which has returned for a fourth series. She co-stars alongside Vicky McClure who plays DS Kate Fleming.

The only difference being, of course, that the BAFTA-winning actress is starring in the show, as the homicidal copper DCI Roz Huntley.

But it seems when she’s off the set and tuning in at home, Thandie, 44, is like any other fan – as she spent much of the episode gushing over her Line of Duty co-star Vicky McClure, who plays DS Kate Fleming.

The acclaimed actress, a newcomer to the cast for its fourth season, tweeted: ‘I love me some Vicky McClure!’ The star of BBC’s recent thriller The Replacement was only too happy with the compliment from the Hollywood film star, and later replied: ‘Love you @thandienewton you are creating quite a stir!’
