Over 600 people injured. Thousands panic Juventus fans fled from the fanzone in a Turin

HUNDREDS of football fans were injured, two critically, after a false alarm led to stampede with reports of 600 people injured.

Thousands of panicked Juventus fans fled from the fanzone in a Turin piazza in panic after mistaking firecrackers for an explosion.

Footage showed panicked fans fleeing from the area where a big screen was showing the clash with Real Madrid.

Fans were seen been with flares and fireworks earlier in the night.

Bloodied and injured people were seen being carried from the packed zone in San Carlo Square.
