Aussie dies in tragic circumstances in Bali found on the bottom of the pool

A LARGE contingent of Coast surfers in Bali for a mate’s wedding are mourning the loss of popular guest who has died in tragic circumstances.

A 31-YEAR-OLD Caloundra man has died in tragic circumstances in Bali where he was with a large contingent of friends for a wedding.

Tyler Kennedy, a carpenter and former Caloundra High School student was found on the bottom of a pool in the villa he was staying in at Canggu after going for a swim about 8pm Wednesday.

He was found when close friend Jake Townsend, with whom he had travelled extensively around the world surfing and who worked with him last year on the Gold Coast, went looking to see what he was doing.

Mate Dean Carpenter of Caloundra said Jake and others had attempted to revive their friend with CPR but had been unsuccessful.
