Nathan Lovett-Murray seeks almost $1m from Essendon amid fears supplements affected daughter

Retired Essendon player Nathan Lovett-Murray is seeking almost $1 million in damages from the Bombers, his manager says, amid fears supplements he was given by the club caused his daughter’s health problems.

Peter Jess said Lovett-Murray was preparing to lodge a claim to seek compensation from the club for loss of income and medical expenses for treatment for severe depression following the Bombers’ 2012 doping scandal.

Separately, Jess said Lovett-Murray had raised concerns with the AFL that the drugs he was given may have caused health issues for his three-year-old daughter, Harmony…
