A plane crash that killed all 66 on board may have been caused by a pilot’s iPad catching fire.

EgyptAir flight MS804, which was en route from Paris to Cairo, plunged into the Mediterranean­ in May last year.

A bomb was suspected but French authorities are investigating­ the new theory after CCTV emerged.

It is believed to show the first officer had placed a tablet and bottle of perfume on an instrument panel.

This is close to where the blaze which brought down the Airbus A320 is thought to have started…
