Adele wows Perth fans with first Australian concert at Domain Stadium

CYCLONE Adele hit Perth last night.

The English pop phenomenon and potty-mouthed vocal powerhouse played the biggest single concert this town has seen, cramming a record 65,000 fans into Domain Stadium for her first Australian concert.

The 28-year-old Londoner born Adele Adkins arrived in town as the hottest musical act on the planet.

Her previous performance was 16 days ago at the Grammy Awards, where she collected five trophies, including album of the year for 25 and record and song of the year for Hello.

The hit single was the logical welcome for fans who had battled traffic and crowded public transport to get to Subiaco.

And what a welcome.

After black-and-white vision of Adele’s eyes opened on the huge wrap-around screen, the superstar belted out Hello to the crowd spanning all ages.
