These Amazing Companies Were Built by Immigrants

A lot has happened recently on immigration. America is a country of immigrants. And Immigrants contributed an incredible amount to help build this country. I’m writing this post to show what an immigration ban based on your country of birth could do to us and our country. The country that we all have built together and love. Where we can speak our minds no matter where we come from or what our views are.

Andy Grover — CEO of Intel, Time Person of the Year, and is often referred to as one of the greatest managers of all time. He immigrated to the United States in 1956 from Hungary. If the US President at his time were making policy similar to our current President, he would’ve never been allowed in the US.

Banning the next Andy Grove from the US because of the country he happened to be born in, is not who we’re or believe in. Here are some other companies build by first or second generation immigrants like Andy Grove.
