The ‘big three’ US broadcast networks’ coverage of President Donald Trump‘s first month in office was overwhelmingly hostile, according to a study released on Thursday.
The Media Research Center, a conservative-leaning entity aimed at ‘exposing and combating liberal media bias,’ says that 88 percent of the broadcast news on CBS, ABC, and NBC has been hostile to Trump.
‘A new American President is always a big story, but TV news is obsessed with the Trump administration – and not in a good way,’ according to MRC.
The study found that the evening newscasts on all three networks combined to report on the president and his administration for 16 total hours – which is more than half (54 percent) of all news coverage during this period.
