Commuter chaos as #PERTH city station evacuated

A CITY train station has been evacuated leaving passengers on city-bound trains stranded this afternoon.

There are reports an unattended bag on the platform led to the closure of Elizabeth Quay station just before 3pm.

The closure is affecting trains on both the Mandurah and Joondalup lines.

Passengers on trains heading into the CBD have tweeted that they are being left in the dark on the situation.

Trains stuck at Glendalough and we aren’t going anywhere soon
