3yo Kawa Sweeney in Perth with her father on an emergency flight from Bali

UPDATE: THE  aunty of a little girl who was pulled unconscious from a Bali pool has thanked the Perth doctor who revived her and the people who donated money to help bring her home.

Three-year-old Kawa Sweeney arrived in Perth this evening after being accompanied by her father on an emergency flight from the holiday island.

The toddler was resuscitated by a Cottesloe doctor, who provided CPR for more than an hour at a Bali villa after she was found unconscious in the pool on Sunday morning.

Orthopaedic surgeon Grant Booth had just been surfing with Kawa’s dad when he heard the commotion from the beach.

Dr Booth was able to get the three-year-old’s heart beating again – something Kawa’s family says they are extremely grateful for.

“(We’re) just so, so incredibly grateful for him and the people around that were able to save her life,” Kawa’s aunty Christine Walsh said, fighting back tears.
