BROWNLOW medallist Matt Priddis has announced the 2017 season will be his last.
Speaking at a press conference at Domain Stadium, the 32-year-old West Coast champion confirmed he will retire at season’s end after a 12-year senior career.
Despite signing a one-year contract extension just last month, the 235-gamer has opted to call time prematurely.
Priddis rose from the rookie list to become one of the Eagles’ most decorated players, snaring a Brownlow win just three years ago in Adam Simpson’s first season at the club.
The decision comes amid speculation fellow Brownlow medallist Sam Mitchell will also hang up the boots at season’s end.
