Canadian woman dies in fiancé’s arms in London’s terrorist attack

Canadian woman Christine Archibald, who was one of seven people to die in London’s weekend terrorist attack, was on the London Bridge when she was hit by a van driven by terrorists and died in her fiance’s arms, his family says.

Cassie Ferguson Rowe, the sister of Archibald’s fiance Tyler Ferguson, has written a Facebook message to The Associated Press confirming the couple were on the bridge when the van ploughed into pedestrians on Saturday night.

Ferguson Rowe says her brother, Tyler Ferguson, held Archibald, 30, from Castlegar in British Columbia, as she died in his arms.

Earlier, the Archibald family released a statement through the Canadian government that she had worked in a homeless shelter until she moved to Europe to be with Ferguson.
