James Packer’s glitzy Crown casino firm is preparing to sell off hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of private jets, yachts and even his vast family home after waning interest from Chinese high rollers, it has been claimed.
Shares in Crown Resorts plummeted more than $1.50 in early trading after a report claimed the company was selling an array of luxury items bought to entertain wealthy Chinese gamblers.
The claims come as some Chinese VIP gamblers continue to avoid the firm’s casinos following the detention of 14 Crown workers in China last year.
