FBI director James Comey has asked the Justice Department to reject Trump’s claims that Obama wiretapped the president’s phones in Trump Tower.

Comey made the request on Saturday asking officials to dismiss the accusations as they insinuate that the FBI broke the law, The New York Times reported.

Senior officials said Comey called the allegations false and need to be corrected.
