How to get to Adele on time after Sydney transport chaos

Megastar Adele captivated Sydney on Friday night during her maiden Australian tour but heavy traffic and trackwork delays caused havoc for 95,000 fans.

For the second night in a row the Sydney Olympic car park is fully booked and transport authorities are warning fans to seek alternative methods when travelling.

With only 35 per cent of fans arriving in time on Friday, enthusiasts from the Central Coast, Newcastle or the Hunter region have been advised to leave two hours earlier than planned in order to avoid delays.

Gates will open at 5.30am but another event on at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday, motorists and fans are advised to plan their trip early.
