Accountant Brian Cullinan: Biggest blunder in Oscar history ‘because he was too busy tweeting pictures during the ceremony’

THE accountant accused of causing the biggest blunder in Oscar history by handing Warren Beatty the wrong envelope was tweeting throughout the ceremony.

TMZ  say Brian Cullinan apparently even posted a picture of Best Actress winner Emma Stone with her award – just moments before the gaffe which saw La La Land wrongly named Best Picture.

Cullinan – who is Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC)’s US Board Chairman – has since deleted the tweet.

But movie fans were quick to point out his error with one writing: “You should have been watching the envelopes instead of the ladies.”

Another added: “Maybe should have been paying attention?”
