THE heavens have dumped more than 58mm of rain on Perth overnight and there may still be some more to come this morning.
Perth has officially recorded 58mm of rain since 8pm, while other parts of the metro area also copped a drenching.
To 6.30am, Jandakot had 40.6mm and Swanbourne had 36.8mm, while 30mm fell at Perth Airport and Rottnest Island.
It was easily Perth’s wettest 24-hour period since the city copped 114mm in February.
A strong wind warning is also in place for Perth Local Waters, Geraldton Coast and Esperance Coast.
