The families of Australians killed in the 2002 Bali bombings say they never gave up hope the man who plotted the devastating attack would be made to face justice.

Guantanamo Bay detainee Riduan “Hambali” Isomuddin, who has been dubbed South-East Asia’s Osama Bin Laden, has been charged over the attack, which killed 202 people including 88 Australians.
He will face charges including terrorism and murder outside the rule of war.
West Australian footballer Corey Paltridge, 20, was killed in the attack, which represents the single largest loss of Australian life due to an act of terror.
His father Kevin said the news provided some comfort.
“Finally they’ve caught up with him,” he said.
“I know how hard the Australian Government and the federals still chase these guys, so I always held out hope.
