A woman has been arrested over the death of a toddler.
Police were called to the house on Fordham Road in Reservoir, in Melbourne’s north, about 11am on Monday.
On arrival, a 13-month-old girl was found, dead, with what are believed to be stab wounds, a police spokeswoman said.
A 28-year-old Reservoir woman was taken into custody and is now assisting police with inquiries.
Three other children were at the home at the time but were not harmed, police say.
