After a couple of seasons where the faith of even the most die-hard House of Cards fan was tested, it’s refreshingly back to basics in the latest episodes.
Sure, some of the plot lines are just as implausible as earlier in the series but the scripts and pacing return us to the halcyon days of seasons one and two, when Frank Underwood was truly running amok in Washington.
It’s lean and Frank is truly mean.
