Suspicious fire at home in #Perth’s north

A HOUSE has been gutted by a suspicious fire in Perth’s northern suburbs this morning.

Fire crews were unable to save the home on Derry Walk in Darch after it was engulfed in flames about 2am.

About 16 firefighters spent 40 minutes controlling the fire, which caused about $450,000 worth of damage.

Arson Squad investigators will be at the scene today trying to determine what started the blaze.

No one was home when the fire started.
