Commuter chaos in Sydney as bus drivers walk off the job

Hundreds of Sydney commuters and school students were left stranded on Tuesday, with 200 bus drivers striking during peak hour.

More than 13 suburbs in the city’s south-west and west were affected when the Transit System drivers walked off the job between 7am and 9am to protest an ongoing pay dispute.

Parents and teachers are making alternate arrangements with the strike expected to inconvenience over 90 schools.
