Ed Sheeran played Webster Hall in Manhattan on Monday night, performing a ‘private show’ for SiriusXM in aid of his third and latest album Divide.
Among the audience members who’d swung by the East Village venue was Tom Hiddleston, whose ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift is Sheeran’s close pal.
Their potentially awkward association didn’t seem to faze them, though, as they both seemed in bright spirits while standing for a photo together backstage.
The 36-year-old, who’s nine years Swift’s senior, had popped a stylish midnight blue pea coat over a deep red sweater closely fitted to his toned figure.
He’d tucked the top into a pair of faded grey jeans and slicked his hair up into a small bouffant, wrapping a hand about the smiling 26-year-old Yorkshireman.
Sheeran had popped on a white T-shirt that showed off the sprawl of tattoos on his arms, and he shoved a hand into a pocket of his dark jeans.
