Southbound lanes of the M7 Motorway at Eastern Creek in Sydney’s west was closed for more than an hour.
Five people, including a teenager, were injured when a truck collided with several cars along a motorway in Sydney’s west, causing traffic to pile up for 9km.
Emergency services responded to the Westlink M7 at 2.50pm on Thursday to reports of a crash involving a number of vehicles.
One of the victims, a teenager, was transported to Westmead Children’s Hospital, an NSW Ambulance spokesman told Daily Mail Australia.
Another person was taken by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital.
